Kamelia Kemileva

Executive Manager and
Liaison Officer to the FDFA

Kamelia Kemileva is lawyer with a Master’s degree in International Public Law from the University of Geneva. She also holds a MBA diploma, with a focus on non-profit organizations. Kamelia is currently Project Manager to the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, in Geneva Switzerland. She handles Academy research projects, including those related to the UN Human Rights Council and other human rights mechanisms.

Kamelia is a lawyer and holds an advanced master’s degree (D.E.A) in International Human Rights Law from the University of Geneva. Prior joining the Academy, she worked at the Permanent Mission of Switzerland to the United Nations Office and to the other international organisations in Geneva. She also acted as Special Assistant to the President of the Human Rights Council for three years.
