Kamelia Kemileva

Projects Manager and
Liaison Officer to the FDFA

Kamelia Kemileva is lawyer with a Master’s degree in International Public Law from the University of Geneva. She also holds a MBA diploma, with a focus on non-profit organizations. Kamelia is currently Project Manager to the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, in Geneva Switzerland. She handles Academy research projects, including those related to the UN Human Rights Council and other human rights mechanisms.

Tom Haeck

Research coordinator

Tom Haeck is currently coordinating the work and research of the Academy on their project relating to the Geneva Conventions and he is participating in the editing of the ‘Oxford Handbook of International Humanitarian Law’. In this capacity, he is also supervising a number of interns from the Academy’s Master programme that participate with the research for the project related to the Geneva Conventions.
