Application Procedure
Application Timline
Applications for the Executive Master programme 2012-2013 will be accepted as of 1 April 2012.
Successful candidates will be informed within one month after their application.
The deadline for applications is settled as of 1 October 2012.

Tuition Fees
Tuition fees for the Executive Master in International Law in Armed Conflict amount to CHF 15,000.
To confirm their admission to the Executive Master students must pay a first tuition fee instalment of CHF 3,000 by no later than 30 October 2012. This amount is not refundable.
The remaining tuition fees are payable in two equal instalments of CHF 6,000, due no later than 1 December 2012 and 15 January 2013 respectively. Payment details will be communicated with the admission letter. Failure to pay the full tuition fee will lead to exclusion from the programme.
A 10% discount is offered for payment in full of tuition fees before 2 November 2012.
Tuition fees include teaching costs, teaching materials, use of the libraries of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and of the University of Geneva. They do not include travel or accommodation expenses in Geneva.
Cost of Living
You will need a very strict minimum of CHF 1’500 per month to live in Geneva.
Financial Assistance
The Programme could provide for limited financial assistance (tuiition fees), to candidates coming from countries included in the UNDP Human Development Index Low. In this case the applicant must submit his or her application by 30 May 2012.
Upon request, however, we will be happy to provide a letter of recommendation to your sponsor or scholarship committee.
