The Academy offers training programs for professionals who are confronted with legal problems related to armed conflicts.
These training programmes in international humanitarian law are specifically tailored to the practical needs of professionals needing to use this branch of law such as NGO staff, diplomats, military staff, academics and others working in the humanitarian field. For these courses, the Academy can draw on the expertise and resources of its own specialised staff and that of institutions, such as the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
