The Rule of Law in Armed Conflicts Project, supported by the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and the Government of Sweden, is designed to generate an online global database on the implementation of international law in situations of armed conflict. The Academy will put on-line a country-by-country consideration of the applicable international law. This includes an examination of the implementation of legal obligations during peacetime, during the conflict, following the end of hostilities, and for the post-conflict peacebuilding phase.

It is carried out by Dr. Annyssa Bellal, Dr. Stuart Maslen, Sharon Weill and Gilles Giacca under the supervision of Professors Andrew Clapham and Louise Doswald-Beck and Dr. Vincent Chetail.
